Team KCM's history dates back over ten years ago, in the quaint little town of Logan, Utah. That's where Kreg Christensen first introduced the world to the Dragon Slayer monster truck.  From that moment on Kreg has been wowing crowds ever since.  Kreg's driving mentality from that day forward has been described as aggressive, competitive, and sometimes even militant.

Team KCM wasn't always involved in monster trucks.  The Team actually started their racing career mudbogging in a Fiat named "Outta Control".  By the early 90's Kreg had just about won everything there was to win in the Western United States, and he was looking for something more challenging and more "bigger".  There for making the switch over to Monster Trucks.

By the mid 90's Team KCM had secured their forefront on the monster truck circuit.  Kreg's first real success in fast evolving business was his white Chevrolet S-10, "Dragon Slayer".  The truck pictured a large fire-breathing dragon on the side spitting a fire ball at a small defenseless "slayer", a quite ironic twist to the name; Dragon Slayer.  The white S-10 made its television debut on the newly famed hit "TNN's Motor Madness".  Dragon Slayer and Team KCM's second truck at the time, Misbehavin' became a huge hit with TV viewers and show promoters.  At the time Team KCM was one of the only ones with a husband and wife driving team.  Misbehavin' and Dragon Slayer toured together up until the fall of 2000 when Team KCM introduced a new truck named "Kaptain Insano".

In mid 2000 when Team KCM introduced Kaptain Insano, they also introduce the world to the only Hummer monster truck.  Dragon Slayer sporting a new lime green almost glowing chassis, and a black base color paint job with an elaborate array of detailed airbrush art with a Dragon Slayer doing just that, Slaying the dragon.  In their late 2000 to early 2001 rookie season driver; B.J. Johnson and Kaptain Insano won a surprisingly 90 % of all their races.  Kaptain Insano and its driver was a instant crowd favorite.  With a wild and almost rebellious attitude B.J. took Kaptain Insano and Team KCM to new heights.

Kaptain Insano continued to tour along with Dragon Slayer till late 2001 where two new trucks were introduced to Team KCM and the world; Mischievous, and Obsession 2.  In the beginning of 2002 the world seen Team KCM split off into almost teams sort of speak.  Dragon Slayer driven by Kreg Christensen would be teamed up with Kreg's new wife, Julia.  Leaving B.J. Johnson to maintain the two other trucks, Kaptain Insano and Obsession 2 and rookie driver, Don Chester.  2002 seen a couple of paint and body changes once again.  This time Kreg changing the black Dragon Slayer to a more noticeable bright yellow paint, yet keeping the traditional "Dragon Slayer" graphics that everyone had come to know, also changed was B.J.'s Kaptain Insano truck; the original 2000 Ford Ranger was modified to give it a more skull looking appearance.

In mid 2002 Team KCM seen B.J. Johnson retire from the sport, and the Kaptain Insano truck was sold off to Europe and currently runs as "Swamp Thing".  Don Chester also hung up his monster truck driving gloves in 2002.  Leaving the temporary driving duties up to Kreg's eldest son Kasey Christensen, and Kreg's brother O.D. Christensen.  In the summer of 2002 Obsession 2's runtime was up and it was later turned into a newer updated version of Kaptain Insano driven by Kasey Christensen.

In late 2002 Team KCM had an addition to their drivers roster, Paul Jensen.  Paul found himself driving the old Mischievous truck with a newly marked Thunder Struck truck.  Paul went into 2003 strong, showing everything he had learned from Kreg in the short time he had been driving.  Towards the middle of the year, the world would see Paul Jensen share the driving duties with long-time crew guy and Paul's cousin Zach Jensen.  By that time the Thunder Struck truck received a full-ride sponsor of Perma-Tech Bedliners, in turn changing the name to "Perma-Tech Thunder".  2004 called for a newly remodeled chassis to become the world's second Hummer monster truck, Thunder Struck.  Paul and Thunder Struck had a very successful run in 2004 with amazing feats, yet once again the name would change to Muscle Machines, named after a toy company Team KCM had signed with.  2004 also seen a new driver emerge, Mikey Christensen, Kreg's youngest son.  Mikey filled in for his dad after Kreg sustained a back injury and took some much needed time off.  2004 also seen another name change, Spiderman, the most recent name to Paul Jensen's truck. The year 2005 saw Kreg and Paul capture the points championships in the Monsters of Destruction series on the Outdoor Channel Network! Kreg was the 2005 champion, and Paul finished in the second spot in total points making it a sweep for Team KCM. 2006 was another strong year for Team KCM with another great finish in MOD competition, as well as many other circuit shows. This year shows signs of being the greatest ever, as the Dragon Slayer is now a red HUMMER H2 and the remaining H1 has been renamed "Kaptain Insano". The driving duties for Kaptain Insano will be held for the most part by Mikeal Christensen as he has grown into quite the dominant driver, much like his father. There is also the possibility of a reappearance of Paul Jensen in the Spiderman HUMMER H1, but we will have to wait and see!
